Located on the banks of the Corgo River near Peso da RĂ©gua, it once belonged to the legendary Dona AntĂłnia Adelaide Ferreira and remains in the hands of her descendants today. Currently owned by sixth-generation family members JoĂŁo Ferreira Ălvares Ribeiro and Francisco Ferreira, the estate spans 65 hectares of terraced vineyards on schist soils. After building a state-of-the-art winery in 2009, Vallado has been recognised as one of the world's top 100 vineyards and Wine & Spirits Top 100 producers of 2021.
Vintage: This exceptional 30 Year Tawny represents the pinnacle of traditional Port production, aged in very old 600-litre oak casks that have imparted decades of complexity. Created from an old vines field blend averaging 30 years of maturation, only 1,000 half-bottles were produced, making this a truly rare expression. The extended aging process has transformed the wine's character, developing the signature tawny colour and the complex interplay of dried fruits, nuts, and caramelised flavours that define the greatest aged Ports.
